Yesterday I was working on a baby blanket that I'm ashamed to say I've been working on since probably March. The baby was born in April. I'm never usually this horrible with getting things finished. I just haven't had the will power to see this thing through. I'm super close to being semi-finished. After that I'll have to weave in a gazillion ends and add a sweet border. I decided to lay it out and check my progress. Holy crap! It is so embarrassingly wonky that I thought that I'd have to frog a third of it. But when I folded it back up all the ends met perfectly and looked like something Martha Stewart would fold!! When it's spread out on the floor no amount of adjusting seems to remedy the wonkiness, and I'm talking a good 2.5 inches off. Here, I'll draw a picture for your viewing pleasure...
Now, imagine if you will that sides, A, B, & C are all perfectly straight and that the "problem area" is actually one third of the length of that side. Also, imagine that the blanket is alternating rows of blue and white. I had a little too much fun coloring this doodle. Now I ask, how can something that is this off fold up so nicely? I think it's grown attached to me and refuses to be completed. It is awfully warm and snuggly. Oh well, if at first you don't succeed, fry fry a hen, right?

How about crocheting a little pillow thing on/over the wonky corner?
I love jewels suggestion! Now tell me where you found that multi-colored yarn. ;)
Hey, I'm giving birth to twins, hopefully in September, and have yet to start their blankets... They might have to wait a while as well!
Hope you get the problem fixed!
